The History Of Southern Tent Company
Southern Tent Company has been a family owned and operated business dedicated to service and quality for over 50 years. The company was founded and owned by Kenneth Bridges from 1964-1989. In 1989 Keith O’Bryan became the owner and operated the business until 2018. During this time, the business was heavily relied upon for providing tents for many dog shows and horse shows.
In addition, there have been several music festivals, fairs, and ministries that have relied on Southern Tent to make their events extra special. On January 1st 2019 the Madonna family purchased Southern Tent Company and are the current owners. They continue to carry on the historic legacy of the Southern Tent Company today.
Who Is Southern Tent Company?
Southern Tent Company has been a reliable source for tent rentals and tent sales for over 50 years. In that span of time the business has served many different industries throughout the eastern part of the United States. Southern Tent Company is currently owned and operated by the Madonna family in a 6000 square foot facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Since taking over the business in January 2019, we have added tent washing as an additional service. The initial purpose was to take care of our own huge inventory of tents and make sure that they were cleaned and looking their best. We firmly believe in providing our customers the best looking tents around. Since then we have offered our tent washing service to other local area tent rental companies who have found this to be a huge asset to their business.
The Madonna family continues to carry on the rich heritage of the Southern Tent Company by improving their product and always looking for better ways to accommodate their clients and customers.
